Default Getting back on track

Hey Everyone! I haven't been on in a while. Things have been hard, I've been struggling up and down with the same 10 lbs for months. Haven't really lost any weight since august, but haven't gained any either, so I guess thats something. I still have this last 30 lbs to get off and I'm ready to get back on track. Hopefully will be on here more for motivation. Ready for the new year!

Good luck.

My highest weight was around 250 and I have stayed within about 10 pounds of 195 for years. I lost more than that, but the 190s have been a comfortable place to hang out - I suppose because I feel more "normal" than I did at higher weights.

2012 will be the year I move that set point down quite a bit. I'm with you!

Thats great! Maintaining is harder then I thought though! I'm feeling pretty good and happy at this weight, but still not at a healthy weight. I would love to get this last bit off and then maintain at around 170. We can do it!

I've been messing around with the same 10 pounds for ages too. I feel more focused now we're through the holiday season. Posting here regularly keeps me motivated too.

You've done brilliantly Tracy - congrats on the 110 lbs lost!!!

ETA I started losing from 206, my ticker and stats here are from when I joined this site.

Before the holidays I was bouncing around the same 5 - 7 pounds for a couple of months. It was driving me crazy but we just need to stick with it and eventually our bodies will start to respond.

P.S. Congrats on maintaining your loss - wish I could say the same but Santa was nice enough to leave me a few extra pounds after the holidays.

Boy do I know how you feel. I lost 22 pounds this summer doing the HCG drops and diet. I was able to maintain for a few months and figured I am going to do just fine. Well 10 of those pounds creeped up on me so I am back to just doing Atkins. I have lost 3 pounds in a week which is less than I wanted but I will take what I can get. Once I get this off I will be much more careful and if the scale fairy puts one pound on that scale I will do a steak day. If you read the HCG diet that is where you eat nothing all day but then have a steak for supper. You will drop 2-3 pounds overnight.

I've had friends do the HCG diet and it seems to restrictive for me. I can do atkins, eat all day, and still lose as much, so why starve? LOL. I will say that once in a while, maybe once a week, I'll have an egg day. I eat around 10 eggs through out the day, and nothing else but coffee w/ cream, and water. I usually lose around 2-3 lbs overnight doing that. It also helps me get back into full ketosis if I've had a slip up.
