Yeah, what they said! You can do this Anna!!

Resisting the treats has always been tough for me. I did Atkins years back and I remember the sugar thing was always the hardest, but I always kept a 'semi legal' backup for the times that I know I would be thrown into temptation! I used to take a block of cream cheese, whip it up with some Torani and a splash of heavy cream and store it in the fridge--any time I felt the urge, I would eat a spoonful. The first couple weeks, it was a tablespoon 3-4 times a day(which I know was too much, but it didn't do any damage at the time)...but after a while, it became a teaspoon maybe once or twice a day. I never thought I would be able to say no to sweets...this really satisfied me. Of course, I was foolish the first time in thinking that I could lose the weight and jump right back into eating the junk food as long as I kept the portions way down.....Bzzzt!! Wrong answer!! Looking back, I knew I could have stayed the course and made Atkins my way of life...so this time around, it's with more determination and creativity!
I'm doing this with my boyfriend too, so having someone to support you is great--and supporting him will also help you!
There will be many times where there are sweets and snacks available to you--learning to resist can take a little time, but trust me....once you find something to be your "go-to" treat, it will be much easier for you to say no, and stay the course! I sure hope you give it another chance!!
