I've been toying with counting calories for the past few months and I lost 10 pounds, but it just didn't seem
right. I felt like I was just limiting the amount of food that I ate and hoping for the best rather than actually targeting the fat, and I didn't feel like I was doing enough. I finally starting looking into ways to eat that actually targeted fat and realized that's what limiting your carbohydrate intake does - what Atkins does. After I learned more, I realized that I had already started cutting carbs, and I didn't even know! For the past several months I've cut bread and pasta out of my diet almost entirely, and I think those two things alone helped a lot. I started focusing on salads and chicken and fruit. Now I'm saying bye bye to the fruit, and I think that's going to be really tough. It was my go-to snack.
I had scrambled eggs with tomato this morning, over 3 1/2 hours ago, and I'm still not hungry at all! IT'S A MIRACLE! Well, not really, but it's incredibly motivating. And now I'm off to exercise!
