Mid morning snacks.
So what do you people usually have, if you have them? Cos of the hours I work I don't often get lunch til 3.30/4.00 pm. So I need something high in energy and low in carbs that I can just grab and munch on the bus to keep me going at work. Any suggestions?

Egg cups are good for grabbing on the go. I found variations on a blog called Kalyn's Kitchen (not sure I'm allowed to link it, but it's easy to find on google). They freeze or just keep in the fridge for several days.

I would also like to know what kind of snacks you all like to have.
If I make bacon or sausage for breakfast, I try to make enough so that I will have it for a snack later. I like to put bacon inside a lettuce leaf with a slice of cheese & a little bit of tomato. Basically, a BLT with no bread. Not sure if you could take that with you though. I will try to pay attention to what I'm snacking on and come back and post. :) |
