Darbs, your menus look great. Keep up the good work!
I've been working on adding more veggies...my next hurdle is eating breakfast. I hate waking up and having to clean butter and egg off of the pan. breakfast: none lunch: 2c stir-fry veggies with seasoning and 1T soy sauce, 1/2c broccoli cheese soup (13.5) pretty carby, but mostly from veggies. dinner: 2c salad w/ seasoned ground beef, cheese, and sour cream (7) total: 20.5 |
breakfast: none (I really need to work on this...)

Thanks Linsy and of course today I have a major lack of veggies and I gave in to an Atkins bar
Total calories 1414 carbs36, net 20 Fat 54%, Carbs 10%, protein 36% eggs, feta, kelbasa almonds, atkins shake, olives salad with chicken chicken with feta and pecans (burnt the collards..no veggie) moment of weakness...just gave in to an Atkins bar (one left and then I won't buy them again) |
It's okay, everyone has slip-ups--tonight after I already ate my chili I had some extra bites of everyone else's chili which had beans in it :eek:. I probably went over my carbs. Sometimes that stuff happens so I try not to stress out about it. I don't think eating that one Atkins bar will hurt as long as you don't make it an regular thing.

B-2 Eggs, 1 One Minute Mug Muffin, 1.5 Carbs L-6 oz Fish, Sole, pan fried with butter, 0 Carbs S- McDonald's Double Cheeseburger, no bun, no pickles, no ketchup (dang that thing was salty though *sad face), 2 Carbs for 2 slices of cheese D-1 One Minute Mug Muffin, with 2 TBSP Sweetened Cream Cheese, 5 Carbs S- 1 One Minute Mug Muffin, 1 oz Fish, Sole, 1TBSP Homemade Mayonaise 1.5 Carbs Total: 10 Carbs |
breakfast: 3 sausage patties (3)
lunch: LC tortilla w/ 2oz melted cheese, hot sauce (4) dinner: grilled chicken breast, broccoli salad (7) snack: mini cheesecake muffin (0.5) total: 14.5 |

lunch: chicken stir-fry (10) dinner: taco salad (7) 1/2 lc tortilla (1.5) snack: 2 mini cheesecake muffins (1) total: 22.5, oops! Went a little bit over...I blame the tortillas! |

lunch: turkey burger patty and salad (5) dinner: turkey burger patty and steamed buttered veggies (8) snack: 5 slices pepperoni (1) total: 15 water goal: 100 oz I feel like I'm just not getting enough calories. I'm at around 1200 today with most of my carbs from veggies and most of my cals from fat. It seems perfect but just not quite enough...maybe I'll add a splash of olive oil to my stir-fry bringing my cals up to 1400. |

After seeing this thread and how little everyone is eating, but the carbs still add up I'm a bit discouraged. I'm still learning how to count carbs but I feel I watt way more then that and go hungry a lot. sigh hopefully I can figure it out soon!
