Need some advice

  • Well, I made it through 3 days at home plus my first day on the road. I weighed this morning before leaving and not only did I lose 2lbs that sneaked on over the last couple weeks, but I'm down one extra...only 2lbs to lose before my goal!!

    Now, my problem is I won't be able to weigh myself until August...lol...

  • Just wanted to stop by and give an update. I was home last weekend for 1st time in 6 weeks. I weighed myself and broke even. Since being away and on a military course I kept on track most of the time. Most of the weekends I had a few beers and indulged on high carb foods like poutine. It's hard to stay 100% on plan and have fun at the same time. Luckily I've been exercising more to offset any damage.

  • Still here...lurking...lol. I'm content with how things are going...once I'm back home I'll crack down and shed a few more pounds...10-15.

    My older brother loves to cook and he cooks all the foods I am not allowed so when he invites me over and I see all those high-carb foods, I understand about staying on course but I am one stubborn lady and I just kept repeating to him "no, no, no".. He did make a shepard's pie with mashed potatoes on top so what I did was just scoop the lamb out underneath so I wouldn't eat any potato.

    You will get to your goal, I can feel it, yeah!

  • Hey Deena...oui, c'est moi! Yeah, Atkins has been good to me...I'm not strictly following it right now due to being away for ten weeks. I'll snap back next week when i head home again. You're def better with names than me!
