Default Flavored sparkling water? Opinions please

I am one of those people who gets bored with "plain" water. I bought some sparkling flavored water at Costco yesterday which is sweeted with sucralose, which I guess is Splenda. The bottle says 1g carbs per 8 oz. Do you all feel this would be okay for induction? I do really enjoy the taste and am down 4 lbs my first week.

I also wonder about flavored water. I'm sorry I can't provide any info! But, to be on the safe side, I like to add my own sliced strawberries into a glass of ice water. SO good. I think it's even better than flavored water.

Everyone is different but I personally needed to rid myself of the cravings for 'junk' drinks so had to literally force myself to drink at minimum of 64 oz. of 'plain' 'boring' water at first. I even kept tabs on it in my food journal.

It took me at least a month to get to where my 30 year addiction to sweetened sparkling drinks was gone - but gone it is.

Now, after 3 months, I don't keep tabs anymore, but I also find myself habitually reaching for filtered or bottled water instead of the sweetened (sugar, splenda, nutrasweet, etc.) drinks. Water tastes good to me now and I no longer find it 'boring'.

I re-read my copy of DANDR last night and he said to count a packet of Splenda as 1 carb. So I'm going to count the bottled sparkling water flavored with Splenda as 1 carb. We'll see, if it stalls me obviously I will cut it out I am also trying to alternate with "plain" water lol!

This company makes sparkling mineral waters with flavors added, but no sweeteners. They taste good and are very refreshing. You can get them at Costco in bulk for cheap.

Another option is just sparkling water, a splash of lemon juice and splenda, if you need that sweetness. Some iced herb teas have a very sweet flavor because of the spices added, without any added sweeteners, too. Iced chai is delicious and you don't have to add the milk and honey
