Default Looking to lose 8lbs by Sept.30th anyone with me!

I have to say the weight loss has been slow this last few weeks. I wanted to lose this weight for sooooooo along. I need a new kick in the butt to get me started...So........I say that by Sept.30 I will lose 8lbs.......I hope...lol I have just come back from getting "the girls"worked on(boob job) I have not been able to work out or get to eat right....I will started on this goal today....I would love to have others to try with me. I will try to keep up with all our loss and post it every week........Can we do this! Are you ready to look hot!......... I want to be hot! If you want to set a goal feel free to join me...even if it is smaller than mine It is whats best for you......I could really use your help.....I would love to help you.

Default I have the same 8LB goal

HI:

I'd really like to join with you on the September 30th goal. I too have set an 8 lb loss for myself. Tonight after work I am re-joining weight watchers for the 1000th time in my life. My problem with this web-site is once I leave when I try to come back I can never find the same thread again. What is my problem navigating this site? Can anyone help me?

Anyway, back in Fall 2002 I weighed 298 lbs. I started on WW in January 03 and most recently I was down to just under 200lbs. I have a feeling that tonight at WW I may see a number somewhere in the low 200's again....yuck ! I hate re-losing the same weight over and over but there is no point in worrying about what is already done. Looking ahead is the only way out.

Anyway, if I can find this thread again tommorrow I will post what my current weight is per my meeting tonight at WW and I will check in here a couple of times a week to see how we are all doing.

you may want to subscribed to the thread it sends you emails when some posts.....it really helped me to keep up with whats gose on wile I was away....

I have found that if I break things down in to small parts the task does not look as big as it did....

So goal for this week I want to walk on my treadmill every day.....40 mins

Next week I will add another good thing to do......Take small steps.

What is your week 1 goal?

I'm with you. My goal is similar; I want to lose 10 pounds by September 30th. I'm going to the gym right now and I am writing everything down that I eat. Best of luck to you guys.

Hey there La3y-I'm in for your challenge. As you know I've been really lax over the summer, but now my Hawaii trip is less than 2 months away! Oh goodness do I want to look better for that trip.

I am focusing on portion size for the week. I will eat what is considered a portion by the unseen forces NOT what I consider a portion. Wish me luck. This is the hard one!

Hawaii trip!!!! I want to go.....
I know what you mean about the protion size I am trying to get back in the swing of this I am haveing a hard time of it so far...I did not get to walk last night. I had a late night with homework and a new camper that my father in law got.....That means we (me and hubby) get their old one...Its still in good shape and we can have lots of fun with it....

So once again I will be walking today! I hope all of you are doing well and Welcome Brandy!

I will definitely join in with you ladies. Not sure if I can lose 8 lbs by then but why not try eh? I am photographing a wedding in November for a friend and would love to look amazing before I do. Would help with my confidence.

Thanks La3y for the lesson on the web-site. I had no idea what I was doing !

So I weighed in last night at WW and came in at 205.6. I signed up for the ten week plan so I am committed for at least that long. It would be great to lose 25 lbs in ten weeks but that is a bit of an aggressive goal. Still they say 2-1/2 lbs a week is a reasonable expectation if I stay on the program and exercise. We'll see. For right now the 8lbs in September is going to be tough enough.

Just keep in mind that you have lots of time to do this. The weight stay off better if you do it slow....

Well I get to go shopping for healthy food today after work so I will be getting back on planed eating tomorrow. Things are looking up! Now if I could just get back to the treadmill.......
