New here - Introducing myself - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

Hello. My name is Kathy, I'm a 37-yr old Mom of 2 great kids. I've had a weight issue almost all of my life. I've tried every plan out there I think. Currently I'm doing the Zone. To be more specific, ZoneChefs. I receive freshly prepared meals and snacks right at my front door everyday. So far it seems to be working great. I started on May 1 and as of my last weigh in I was down 15lbs., not bad. I'm also doing Walk away the Pounds.

My ZoneChefs plan is on a month-to-month basis right now. I started because I had reached my all time high of 265 and I'm going to meet with friends I had just seen last year when I weighed about 15 pounds less. Since the plan is working so well, my husband graciously agreed to allow me to continue through June (it's very pricey) and as long as I'm following it and doing well we'll continue.

I'm ready to do this. I really want the first # in my weight to be a one for the first time in a long time.

Hey Kathy and Shawn! I am new to this site also and I am enjoying all the great stuff on here. I have been having a hard time getting motivated on my own. My B-day is tommorow and I turn 31 and it has been kinda depressing. When I was younger I used to look at ladies in their 30's that were in shape and looked HOT and think that's what I want to be when I grow up! HUH now I am at my biggest weight ever 232 and I think if I don't do something now I will never be that HOT MOM!! I am pretty satisfied with the thought that I will never be a size 10 again but I would just like to go from a 18/20 to a 14. I want my 30's to great! Not depressing! So that's why I am here, make new friends and get motivated to get out and work hard. I'm a good listener so if anyone needs support maybe we could do it together.
