Default can you loose inches but not lbs?

My scale seems to be stuck over the past week and 1/2. Do you generally loose lbs and inches at the same time. Or does the lbs loss stop..then you loose inches..then you start loosing lbs again? Does this make any sense?

I don't konw any of the science behind it, but I've been stuck for several weeks, but I know that I'm losing inches because my "suck your gut in" jeans are now loose on me.

Hang in there!

That has happened to me many times My weight pretty much stayed the same for almost a month but inches came off big time! As long as something's showing improvement, don't sweat it. The scale finally started moving at a good pace again after a while.

If you are exercising you are probably gaining muscle at the same time as loosing fat. Pound for pound muscle takes up less space than fat.
