Red face $#@! Superbowl McNuggets!!!

I'm new here, but I love the site so far...

I'm a 33 year old female, trying to lose around 120 pounds. I joined WW last week, and I had been doing pretty good for the first couple of days.

Until the superbowl nuggets.

I don't eat fast food often. I like eating out, but I know that it is my weakness, so I have been learning to cook from home - healthy stuff - and my hubby enjoys the stuff I make.

My weakness is chicken nuggets. I love them. I also happened to eat 25 of them in a 8 hour period on Sunday.

I figure I need to get my rear on the treadmill more this week to make up for them...

ANYWHOO..

I look forward to exchanging many ideas and support with you all!

Default You can make light versions of both of those foods

I'm sure on line there is a chicken nugget recipe that is lower in calories and fat, and I know for sure there are many ways to make chili that are healthy. Chili is an inherently healthy food! It's got veggies -- tomatoes, onions, peppers. I substitute the ground beef with veggie crumbles and put in more beans; my daughter hates beef, so she uses ground turkey. Or use the lowest fat content beef you can get; the strong taste of the chili would overcome any blandness you might feel was there from the leanness of the meat. My point is that you don't have to give up foods you love in order to lose weight; you just have to find a healthier way to make them.
