I have to admit my surprise to how much added energy I have now that I've started exercising regularly! The last time I got this much exercise, I was thinner, so I know that a lot of the energy I had then came from not being overweight (and from being younger! *sigh*
), but wow! I'm not going to be entering any marathons any time soon, but I can at least run around with the kids in the backyard some now.
Feeling the extra energy is definitely a boost to keep me on track. Sometimes it's hard to feel motivated when the "reward" of trying to lose weight seems so far off, so this perk of energy from the near beginning is awesome!
