I went shopping last night and started my Crimbo shopping, thank goodness. Got my nieces sorted out, and my dad, still have mum and DH to go then we're done!
And I didn't buy anything at all for me!!!! Oh except a CD.
Off to the gym and pool now, then to my ball tonight, hope I don't turn into a pumpkin!
We want piccies miss pumpkin! and I might even post a piccie of me in your dress
Veggie, have a fab time!
I like this time of year too, not too many presents to buy - I'm going to be such a scrooge this year, I'm really not buying presents, but then I've told people not to get me anything! I might pick up something nice for mum in Paris, I have no idea what though, she already has everything and she never uses stuff I do buy her
Had a good kickbox last night - got home and felt like my legs were going to drop off!
It's thundering here today and I got very wet on the bike yesterday too! But at least all its lights are working now, and the tyres are blown up!
Veggie I cannot remember who Rufus Wainwright is but saw his name advertised at either the Hammersmith Appollo or Shep[herds Bush thingy- cannot remember which one.
Christmas is not creeping up on us it is galloping!
Oh YP what a great dress!!! Magic knickers work wonders!
No pics of me, some were taken and I shall try to oblige. Unfortunately my ball didn't go well. I arrived had a glass of wine, and then started feeling horrible. I stayed for an hour and a half then was taken back to my hotel. When my friends came in at one I was feeling a bit better. Then I got up to go to the loo got disoriented and fainted! Both my roomies are nurses, and decided I needed to go to hospital. So I got a trip in an ambulance, and a visit to A & E, my first ever in this country. I have a sprained ankle from the fall, and my tummy is still a bit dickie, but I will live!
So not a very good start to my balldancing career, and I presume I will be out of action at the gym for a couple of days, but I am determined to swim tomorrow!!!!
Ooh I'm back early hurrah! Had v v v v good time saw nothing of Manchester at all just train station, hotel and Apollo. Avoided the dreaded 2 train and 2 bus (line closed at weekend for some work) return journey by my brother driving us to Preston then just the one bus then train.
I'm glad you managed to avoid the transport mess, I hate it when they do that.
I'm feeling a lot better now, except for my danged ankle which really annoys me, but never mind, can't be helped. Hopefully it won't take long before I can go back to the gym, maybe I'll read some books instead, or watch telly, or do things normal people do for a while!!!!
DH has excelled himself and has done a great job of looking after me, he didn't go to the ball, so wasn't present for the ambulance trip! Cute ambulance technician and a cute doctor, what more can a drama queen ask for??
