Default Cramping after eating after exercise?

Hi everyone, I have a question.

I worked out today (first time using the weight machines on my own, broke a sweat, feel good...then did 1/2 hour of stationary bike, more sweat, legs shaking, wow, didn't realize the weights before the bike would make that much of a difference) and had dinner shortly afterword. I made chop suey, which I know is high in sodium, and I'm wondering if that's causing the reaction I'm having. I got about halfway through eating dinner and my stomache muscles feel like they're cramping up -- not a "oh my gosh, I think I'm going to throw up" sick, more like "ow, someone's smacking me in the stomache with the business end of a baseball bat" kind of feeling. Has anyone else ever had this kind of reaction of they ate too soon after exercising, or ate the wrong kind of food, or anything? Just wondering if I'm just weird.

I guess I'll answer myself here...the cramping or whatever-it-was is pretty much gone now. Stomache feels a little tight/sore or something, but otherwise ok. Still not sure what happened there.

HOw long did you wait before eating after your workout?
Was it the first time you eat this chop suey?
Are you eating a LOT more vegetables and fruits?
It could be that your abs were sore from the workout...
Did you drink enough water before and after you workout?

It could be several things really... if it persists see your doctor...
