Default About the Slimming Tea we were discussing...

I found a "diet tea" at Eckerd today...I decided to look up the active ingredient on the internet before opening it cos the instructions were scary and the package offered NO explanation of what this "tea" is supposed to do. The ingredient is called senna. According to the info I found, side effect include this, that, the other thing and ummm...oh yea, DEATH. Ummm...I think Ill take the flax seed oil and play this bad boy out...no thanks on the tea- LOL!!!!!

Senna's just a natural laxative-the longer you steep it the more potent it is. Believe me, you don't want to steep it too long-not pretty

I think I read that you're not supposed to use any senna leaf derivative every day, but check the packaging. I have colitis and have to be very careful of this type of stuff. If I use the tea 2 days in a row, my tummy reacts badly.
