Congratulations! I am so happy for you. I am down 8.5 pounds so far and my first week ends tomorrow morning, so it may be 9 by then.
TMunday, I think a lot of our loss is water weight. I followed the "Wendie Plan" with my flex points and ate small meals throughout the day. I actually did not workout, except for walking on campus. I need to start though. I have an elliptical machine at home, but I haven't used it in a long time....so I have no excuse. Hope that helps .

Default LOTS of exercise

I know its probably water(I drink gallons!),but I power walk 3 miles every day with my dog. I also work with dogs so I get a lot of exercise doing that. I was really eating way too much before starting WW again. The only portion control for me was an empty bag or the bottom of a pan!! I'd snack right up until I went to bed. Not good, and I knew it. So,my eating habits are WAY different now. I feel so much better in just a week's time. Hey,can I say "thanks" for the support. You guys are great!

sweet2th,

That is an excellent example of non - portion control! An empty bag or bottom of the pan! Humorous as well as a great example. You seem like you stay on your feet most often! I can see you having a great success! Good luck to you.

UFSeniorGirl,

I know what you mean about the exercise machines! I have a treadmill in my sunroom and all it does is collect dust. I had it in my living room (but there is not enough room in here for anything! - very small) but all it could do is hold coats and dust because there was no room to open it up to use it. But like you said... no excuse! I am planning on making my sunroom an exercise room. I think it will be awesome! It is small.... but I will make it work.
