Default injury update

well its officially bad i'll be out of training for about 8 weeks. i dislocated the AC joint of my shoulder and heavily bruised everything around it. i have to go back later this week for cortisone injection in my shoulder to help it along as well as having physio and yes it still hurts

Ack! That is terrible ruins your whole summer I suppose if you can't do any fun stuff outside. I hope you heal super quick and eating lots of nutricious foods will help speed your recovery!

well i had my cortisone injection right into the fluid sack under the ac joint. didn't hurt having it done but god did it ache after. its been agony almost all night and apparently it'll get worse tomorrow then start getting better

Cortisone injections hurt, they also send me more doolally than normal! I hope it does the trick and you're feeling better soon. Is the physio helping yet?

Sigh..oh Si! You really did do a number of yourself this time, poor boy! Hope the recovery's as quick as possible (and that the doctor gave you something for the pain!) Take it easy and don't rush back into things too soon - let yourself heal!!

Have a couple beers Si that will ease the pain and if it does not you won't care as much. Sorry to hear the bad news. Hope you heal fast.
