Question Am I doing this Right

Quick question ladies, I want to know if my exercise routine is enough to begin losing. I mostly use a cardio step-aerobic tape thats about 40 minutes. I usually do my tape for 3 days and walk 3 miles on the track near my house. Is this enough activity?

Sounds great to me! Is it more than you usually do? By that I mean when you're not trying to lose weight...

If you think you're stalling then maybe try upping the distance or changing the intensity of the cardio.

I don't eat salad, but I'm slowly forcing myself to eat veggies in meals. I'm introducing one new thing a week - make a stir fry or something with stuff I do like and slip and extra bit in to try to get used to it.

Last week leeks were introduced (as well as quinoa, but that's not veg), this week mange tout and baby sweetcorn have made an appearance.

Eventually I'll get round to lettuce.

Maybe try soup- my alternative to the salad and a great way to get veggies in as long as you pick a veggie style soup and stay away from chowders. Most are naturally lower in calories.

I think your work out sounds good. When it start to feel to easy, just up it. what step tape do you do? i still do the old reebok step fromt he 90's it fun...
Anyway, I dont' think you need to eat salad to lose weight. a lot of times salads at restraunts have more calories than entrees. and lettuce doesn't really give you much in the way of nutrition. But you do have to get fruit and veggies in some how to have a balanced diet. do you like cooked veggies?

just a note on the soup ladies... watch the sodium!!! Will make you retain water and seem like you have gained weight if you eat alot in one day

RE: soup --- most canned ones have way too much sodium. Making your own is really easy and almost always tastier!
