Completely non diet related, but I use it for cookies and it works fine - tastes and looks just like granular sugar. I have no idea how good a product it is for use with WW, but I am maintaining and just trying to cut out a little of the sugar here and there.
I have not paid that much attention to it because I use baking sugar (fine sugar) for baking and not try to modify. But I have only heard good things about it. I know it is 1/2 and 1/2 so I am not sure what the points are on it.
Isn't WW a new lifestyle change, and really shouldn't be called a diet? I feel that way anyways. I'm trying to save my some some points using this.. it's half the calories than regular sugar, and rearanging my recipes, I have found that it does lower some recipes more than others in points..
I used it in a batch of cookies over the holidays. It tasted okay, however the texture of the cookie was different. Lot's of people commented that it tasted different. I think next time I will go back to using regular sugar.
I've used the sugar blend and like it much better than using the regular Splenda. My family couldn't tell the difference and I used it in my nutrolls and other cookies for the holidays.
