I"m ready. I want to get ina good couple of workouts this week, just to get my mind right. I also might get up early in the am on turkey day and hit the track since the gym is closed, just to get in some exercise before the gluttony begins.....but, let's hope there is not that much gluttony.
I'm also looking forward to the break from school and work, I have been slowly working towards a burn out. I really need these days off!

blah, things kind of suck right now. bf, rob, and i found this great place to live a few months ago. or so we thought (dum dum dum - menacing music). turns out there is serious second hand smoke issues (and noise issues but the main problem is the smoke). we are just getting a lot of cigarette smoke and it smells gross and really affects me (smoke makes my glands swell). we can't even turn the heat on because the smoke comes in through the vents (hard to explain why but we share an attic w/ this woman who smokes and our heater is up there so it's blowing smoke out, i guess). so we are going to try to get out of the lease. what a hassle! i don't know if we are going to get our security deposit back, but we're hoping so because the people who own it are nice and we have brought up this issue to them a few times.
Megan, well, that totally sucks. I would bring up to the owners that if they dont' comply with you breaking the lease, then they can look forward to a lawsuit, although I hope you wouldn't have to take such drastic measures.
They need to keep in mind, that you know have smoke scented furniture and clothing, and that you will be happy to forward the bill to them for the cleaning of the above.
happy thanksgiving guys!!! how was everyone's holiday? mine was good. i didn't overeat, but I did have all of the things that I really like. yay!
the apartment thing is going a bit better. we've decided to stay, but are making some changes to help keep the smoke out. we went to see a couple of other apartments and realized that we really do have a great place and although the smoke thing is a problem, we can make it work (for now).

I'm new. I started my weight loss journey 3 years ago after my last child was born. ( I have 3 children ..ages 16,15 and 3) A month after I had him I weighed 222. I went to the gym and managed to get down to 170 in a year. Over the next year my weight fluctuated between 180 and 160. Finally in my 3rd year my weight has fluctuated between 170 and 146. Yes...I got down to 146 and said WOOOHOO and then jumped back up to 165. The weight I currently am. I feel a great weight range for me would be 140-150 max.( I'm 5'5") I would love to be 150 by Christmas. I'm gonna have to hit it hard! Ultimately I would like to be 140 by Jan 31st for a cruise my dh and I will be taking! Hubba, Hubba! Also!! My 20th high school reunion will be this year! And I would OHHHHHHHHH SOOOOOOOOOO LOVE for everyone to speculate if I have had plastic surgery because I couldn't possibly look that Great after 3 kids and damned near 40! LOL! So...Please tell me what I need to do to join in because I'm ready for the challenge!!
Also, I forgot to say I missed you guys...I was going through 3FC w/ drawal.....

although i understand the context of the use of "cookies" i feel this word should be carefully administered as it does make me have savage cravings for the maryland double chocolate chips ones mmmmmmmmmm
I just got an e-mail hoax with a recipe for choc. chip cookies from Neiman Marcus, but now heard that they made a choc. chip recipe due to the e-mail...so damn, now I'm going to have to go ck em out.
