Assuming the answer is yes to slimmings questions, how about shaking up your exercise plan? Are you upping your weights on your circuit? maybe it's time to try something new and breaK away from the circuit. Are you really pushing yourself?

You could try a long slow run on the treadmill. Increasing your mileage is the best way to go, but don't go fast just go at a comfortable rate (make sure you're sweating) for a longer period of time. You can't help but lose if you're doing long cardio workouts!

Maybe try reducing your calories a little bit also. Sometimes just cutting out one little thing can equate to an extra 5lb loss. For example cream and sugar in your morning coffee adds up quickly, and drinking juice and milk can add up too. Try switching to black coffee, and drink mainly water. I eat a lot of fruit and vegetables when I feel hungry because they are very low in calories.

Good luck!

If you are doing the same routine every day that will definitely lead to a plateau. In addition to increasing distance some days, do things in a different order, try a different cardio activity a few days a week, do a shorter/more intense session one day a week, add some intervals, etc. Your body gets super-efficient when you do the same things in the same order at the same intensity for the same amount of time every day. You have to add some variety to keep it on its toes and keep it from becoming efficient.

thanx everyone!! to answer a couple of questions..... I try and take a couple of days off every once in awhile whether i just cant make it or what not. I usually eat between 1200-1400 cals a day but more often than not its more like 1200 if that, which is probably part of the problem i started eating a little more last week and well......i lost a pound after two or three weeks of not losing, so i am sure that is part of the problem..... its weird needing to actually eat more and not less, but i will take all the advice and hopefully it will help, i am on my way to the gym now so i am going to shake things up today and see how it goes! thanx again, jamie
