I see women here everyday that I admire for their strength, beauty, and honesty. The willingness to lay it on the line and say I struggle, this weightloss thing is hard, and it has alot to do with my heart and soul and alot less to do with what I am putting in my mouth.
Angelina Jolie- Not only is she beautiful she is a very giving person and has been asked by the UN to be an ambassador to several 3rd world countries. She left Billy Bob when that relationship was no longer healthy for her. And she conveys strength to me.
Dawn French- She is fat, silly, and absolutely sexy. Because your heavy doesn't mean your not multi-faceted and watching her in the Vicar of Dibley I saw one of the bravest people. She played the lead and carried it, without being the butt of the joke.
The young lady who runs the anorexic web. I admire her bravery at being so blunt of the deadliness and pervasiness of eating disorders.
My mother- for still be beautiful and growing at almost 50.
The 3FC- they have given me so much in this site and a "safe" place to be who I am.
Charlize Theron- For overcoming a tradgedy in her life (her mother shot her father) and still being beautiful. For being brave enough to go outside the box and be a "Monster".
Paula Abdul and Alanis Morisette for talking openly about their eatings disorders.
Geena Davis- strength period.
There are hundreds more but this is all my brain will give up this morning.
