Default Weekly Weigh-in 1/25 -1/31

Weighed myself today... I only maintained (actually, if you get picky with decimals and stuff I gained 4/10ths of a lb, haha). But considering that I really slacked off both in food and exercise, I'm okay with this.

I slacked off, too. Somehow I'm too busy to eat. I haven't exercised in the past week and I'm doing good to get 1000 calories - all I'm eating is fast food, Chinese, and Subway! UGH. I'm very depressed right now, I'm having some issues right now that are temporary but nevertheless knock me down. I've lost one pound. I've been at 230 for four days now. I know if I exercised I would have lost more. I really need to loose 2 lbs a week.

My body is so weird. I am actually up 2.5lbs but when I did my measurements (what I actually care most about) I was down 1" on my bust, another 1" on my waist and 1.5" on my hips. I think I may just go with the measuring instead of the weighting....makes me much happier

If you're measurements went down, I think that is way better than losing pounds! You could have gained muscle! Did you measure your body fat percentage by any chance? That could give you an idea. Congrats on the lost inches!

Great job, Lynnie!!

Well, I weighed-in tonight, too, and it wasn't pretty. It had been three weeks since I weighed in. It's so bad, I don't know that I can post it ... I'll be working extra hard the next few weeks to get it off!

Nope, I don't even know how to do that. I went into this whole lifestyle change/diet/whatever kind of blindly, just knowing that I wanted to be healthier. I am learning new stuff ALL the time

Congrats on your loss, Lynnie! I know you must be feelin' good--it's so motivating, isn't it? (-;
Jina, girl, you can get those pounds off, I just know it! I'm sure you'll be working hard over the next few weeks to make sure that happens. (-;

Congrats to the losers! Jina - keep it up - those gains can be so frustrating! Did you expect it?

Jenicra: I expected a small gain -- not as big as it was! It really was a shock. But, hopefully I can attribute some of the gain to TOM and the heavy clothes I was wearing when I weighed in... hopefully...

Well, I lost the 1 lb I gained last week. Yay!!

Shelby, if you go to www.ishape.com you can calculate your fat percentage. Go to the sign up now and get 10 days free. On the following page there's a body fat calculator. I'm sure there's more on the web, but that's the one I use.

Lynnie, congrats on your weight loss, 4lbs, that's great!!

Jdogg, i'm sure its b/c of TOM, i know you'll show some loss next week.

Thanks for the info! I keyed in my past measurements and my new ones and it says that I have gone from 39% to 37% body fat. I guess that's good Is there such thing as a target % of body fat? I did a google search and came across this site but wan't sure which % I should be aiming for, so I think I will go with the low end of what they say is acceptable at 25%. Yay, yet another new goal for me

I like this site for body fat estimates: http://www.mybodycomp.com/index.html

It uses measurements from all over your body and will save all the measurement data so you can see how your body is changing over time. And it's free!
