Default Chris's Favorites

What's Your Favorite...

TV Show? I don't watch TV currently, but I loved Star Trek Deep Space 9 when it was on.

Movie? LOTR Trilogy. I will NOT pick a favorite.

Singer/Band/Group? System of a Down and Pink

Actor? Well how could I ever choose between Viggo, Orlando, Johnny or Brad Pure eye candy. If I had to hang with one I would probably choose Sean Connery, oh well I might be able to talk to Johnny too.

Actress? I think Liv Tyler is gorgeous, but Angelina Jolie will always be tops with me. (will I ever get over my boddy issues )

Magazine? Lifeline by OA. I quit buying all the Glamour, Cosmo, and Women's World they made me eat.

Book? The Stand by Stephen King and of course the 12 and 12

Place To Be? With my internet friends, OA friends, or in my DH's loving arms

Place To Visit? I want to go back to Europe, I also want to go to Japan. I always seem to be visiting Oklahoma unless its work.

Item In Your House? Total goober here. I actually own a statue of Lara Croft, she reminds me you can be beautiful, intelligent, powerful, but you might have to carry BIG GUNS

Class In School? Art and Speech. An artist or a PR person would be my dream jobs.

Sport? I like to play , I don't care to watch. Basketball.

Game? I like playing all kinds of board games with my son. My favorite though is Scrabble. I am such a geek

Activity? Surfing the web, writing in my journal, do my charity thang

Color? PINK!

Childhood Toy? I had a creepy doll. But I didn't play much as a child, I play more now as a grown-up. I will play video games.

Chris - I saw Angelina speak in person in July. She is absolutely breath taking. I saw Halle Berry that weekend, too. Another jaw dropper. Both had fit, lean bodies but were not lollipop heads.

I am also a huge LOTR movie fan - DH, 2 friends, and I are watching all 3 on Sunday.

Actress? Claire Danes

Magazine? Lifeline, Yoga International, Runners World, and Yoga Journal

Item In Your House? My exercise DVDs and videos, my computer

Class In School? Eastern History, Eastern Philosophy, Language Acquisition

Sport? I'm not really into sports but I like to watch Olympic Ice Skating stuff. I also like to watch things like the Eco Challenge.

Christy, I LOVED the Harriet the Spy books! I've still got them.
When I was a kid, my best friend and I were "spies", and we had spy kits (old lunch boxes) containing all kinds of things... a mini camera, fingerprinting equip, a magnifying glass. What a hoot.
And I must say, Barbies are a close second for me, too. My sister and I "played" with them well into our teens. We designed FABULOUS houses for them in the barn with bricks and boards and fabric...
Oh, and did I mention I have the entire collection of Nancy Drew books? And most of the Hardy Boys and Bobbsey Twins, etc. I read them when I'm miserable/depressed. Last night I read a new Hardy Boy book.

I love this thread! (I'm nosy, too, Christy!)

ellis -- I think I was a teenager before I stopped playing Barbies, too! I have two younger sisters who played with me. I'd set up these elaborate houses and they'd show up to "spend the night" with my Barbies so they wouldn't have to fix their houses. When I got tired of playing, some horrible natural disaster (tornado, hurricane) would strike Barbie's home and we'd have to clean up. Hmmm...sounds like something that may lead to therapy later on.

Chris -- Over a MILLION on Bookworm?!?! Nu-UHHH! I bow to the master... Here I thought I was a brainiac when I made it over 100,000. (Christy slinks away to lick her wounds and question her intelligence...)
