Default thinking of starting - recommendations

Hi All,

Im thinking of really starting on SBD - been following some principles loosely for a while now.
Im looking for books/resources to find out everything i need to know.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

I strongly recommend reading the book first, so you'll understand the basics of this healthy way of eating. We do have the Food Lists posted in the FAQ section of this forum, but you'll gain valuable tools and information by reading the book before you begin.

Good luck to you!

"The Book" is either version of the South Beach Diet, original or supercharged. (not the cookbook)

Yes, for the first 2 weeks you avoid all fruit, as well as grains, alcohol, and certain starchy vegetables. The idea is to eliminate the cravings for carbohydrates that cause so many of us to binge.

This is why it is so critical to read the book; to learn the philosophy behind this way of eating.
