So I am dog sitting for my parents and I just walked by the mirror after coming from the bathroom and it has finally kicked in how much weight i've lost and how much my body has really changed! I have pics but I am not wearing the most skin tight thing so its not a really good progress picture. I'm wearing my boyfriends mens large tee shirt and some shorts and tights but sometimes It takes a baggier shirt to see how much smaller you look. I hated wearing baggy shirts when I was heavy because I felt like a huge man since i am tall. Not to mention a mens large probably would look just right on me back then :/
I slipped up memorial day weekend because of cookouts and alcohol but now I am more than half way to goal and I am feeling more pumped than ever! 25 more pounds to goooo.
You look fantastic! Man, you wear 165 GREAT! I'm only an inch shorter and I don't look near that thin at 165. We are all so individual, it's just the way it goes!
Glad you are able to recognize how lovely you look!
Thank you so much, that made me feel really good :-D. I am still considered overweight at 190 so I just want to finally get to an average weight for my height plus i still have some belly fat I want to get rid of. 165 was the weight I was when I started college in 2006 so I think that is why I chose that number. I also feel like I am really close to my starting weight still so that scares me a little also. So losing 50 pounds in total I think would put me at ease mentally.

Thank you!! I am actually 190 right now but I think this picture hides some of my belly fat that I still have haha. I am spoon shaped which means I have long legs and arms which helps but I carry weight in my middle!!! haha
Oh my, I didn't read right before, you're 190 in this pic? Seriously? You must have great muscle tone, you really do look amazing! Boo yah!
I mean, look in my profile at my 199.whatever it is pic. That's only 9 pounds above where you are and only 1 inch shorter and I look like a marshmallow! Seriously, you are BLESSED with your body!

I had to do a doubletake because I was sure these were pictures of someone at their goal weight. I'm guessing you're a lot of muscle. You look fantastic! Keep at it
Looking great is important and nice (and you are looking good) but for me health is number one. I'm a little over 5'9" and think my body will settle at 165ish.
I've heard BMIs in the 24-25 range are the healthiest. I also love doing athletic things and the fewer pounds the more fun and awesome they are.
I think I look good now. But there is no doubt that my lower belly and the back of my arms still have fat on them. Not loose skin, fat pure and simple. But as I get closer to what I think is my body's perfect weight all the fat is coming from those places. Because well that is where it is left.
And with all the stats out about percent of people overweight and obese, even though I don't put too much stock in BMI, I kind of want to go from morbidly obese to not overweight. But if I don't, I don't.
I will say once I broke 200 every 5 lbs is way more awesome than before. I just see and feel it now more. So there are a lot of reasons for me to keep going. Among them I keep losing without doing anything extreme. And I never will. If I settle at 175 then so be it. But no reason to not keep losing if you are doing things you can do for the rest of your life.
