Default Vomiting-Cant do it

So this isn't really a problem just an observation since having gastric bypass almost a year ago. I use to be able to throw up easily. If I didn't feel well sometimes it just felt better to get it out. Since the surgery I'll have times I feel naseous but can't actually throw up. For example, tonight I've had a horrible headache. Every 30 minutes or so I rush to bathroom gagging as if I'm getting ready to vomit. I go through the motions sweating and spitting but nothing really comes up but foam. It's kinda annoying. I wish I could just get it over with. Anyway, just thought I'd share. Anyone experience this?

I understand that sometimes vomiting can make you feel better, but I would talk to the doctor about this. It's not normal. Something is causing you to feel nauseated. If it's happening often enough for you to consider it a problem, then it is.

By any chance were you bulimic before you had the surgery?

I don't have the feeling often. When I have bad migrain headaches I vomit. I've only had 2 since my surgery, last night being the 2nd time in a year. When I first had the surgery and would eat to much or too fast I would feel sick but nothing would come up. Again going through the motions with nothing actually coming up.

Aren't you pregnant? I would have your ob/gyn check your B vitamins because there is a B vitamin that helps with nausea. I can't remember if it was B12 or another B vitamin.

Don't know about the surgery but that is exactly how I am with migraines, the vomiting I mean not the not being able to vomit . It gradually gets worse and the nausea builds. At the very worst of it I have to vomit. Then I can keep coffee down which helps to get over it. I read somewhere that the vomiting is from the pain. As I said I don't know about the surgery but commented because people were wondering if the vomiting was a result of the surgery. As you know that part is typical migraine reaction.
