Default Any Alternative peeps heard of BSN?

First of all I want to thank you all for all of your amazing information. You guys are a huge source of information and support.

So, I was on Amazon checking out the prices for EAS shakes and I read a review where the guy mentioned that his favorite drink is BSN. I of course search for that and find this protein powder that is called desserts or something like that. The names of them sound delish (whipped vanilla cream, banana cream ect) and they seam to fit into the guidelines w/ 150 calories, 21g of protein, 8 total carbs and 30 calories from fat.
Are any of you familiar w/ this?

Thanks!!

I'll reply with the same info that I gave someone who had asked about the EAS 100% Whey shakes.

While these are within the guidelines and OK to use for phase 1 of IP, they are much higher in calories than the IP shakes - the BSN shakes are also at the top limit for carbs to be unrestricted, while most IP shakes are below 4g carbs. EAS Carb AdvantEDGE and Syntrax Nectar shakes are much closer to the IP shakes in calories and carbs. The extra 50 calories per shake can absolutely make a difference in your weight loss if you were to use this shake more than once a day, because while ketosis in IP is how our body uses our fat instead of glycogen stores to get energy, it is the reduced CALORIES that actually make that fat burn.

Hope that helps!
