Default eggs

Confused - Is a serving of eggs 4 eggs and 2 whites, or 2 eggs and 4 whites? The first seems like a lot but it looked like that was what was on the new Phase 1 sheet. Do you know which is correct? Thanks in advance!

I asked my coach the other day cause I was given two sheets with two different amounts one was the four and 2 whites the other said 3. She said the 4 was is if you were eating small eggs but it was updated to three cause most people buy large or extra large eggs. I had been using 2 xlg in my salads at lunch and counting them as 4 oz of my meat and had no problem losing on the first week. But I may buy smaller ones next time.

The newest sheet from Feb 2013 is four whole eggs plus 2 egg whites. This first came out last June & was cause for much debate. This IS the protein serving, whether individual coaches like it or not.

I was just going buy what I was told by my coach I'm very new to this, only in my second week, and have found many different versions of the phase one protocol online. Do you know then what size of eggs this refers to? All the different information can be overwhelming.

It sure can be overwhelming and it doesn't help that individual coaches give misinfo. Sorry this happened to you. Just use regular, large eggs.

Stick around, you'll see there are lots of coaches doing things that get questioned. Follow the sheet. The newest one (dated feb 2013) is in the newcomer stickies at the top if the forum, in case your coach is using the wrong one (lots are). We are finding here that good coaches are few and far between. But together, we have lots of good info!

I spent a month reading this forum before I ever started IP. it was every helpful and I felt like I had sorted through a LOT of the overwhelming info by then.
