Default Watching everyone eat dessert...

Man is this killing me! All of my favorite desserts are here and all I want to do is shove my face into the box!

I feel guilty enough for having 2 forkfuls of stuffing... Can't imagine how it would be if I ate cheesecake!

I can stay strong, I can avoid the desserts, I want to be thin more than I want a momentary taste of something sweet.... If I keep saying it, I may start to believe it.

HEy Kat, just finished the same thing! Just think how much better you will feel tomorrow when they're complaining because they ate too much and you wont be. We are IP strong!

Just think next year, you'll be able to have dessert and the knowledge not to go mental.

I cut the apple pie I made with my daughter and sipped pumpkin spice tea while my husband and daughter ate.

Next year, I'll look fabulous having a piece of pie.

In my three months OP I have come to look at food differently as well. The only time I seem to have a challenge is when pms strikes, which it is doing on full force this year.

Your replies are so helpful! You are right, this time next year, I will look amazing, be in good health, and have the skills to decide if I really want the food or if is something else driving the craving.

Thank you all for helping me stay strong!

Herbal teas have been a big flavor satisfied for me. Black cherry, or apple cinnamon are my favorites.

Time for a chocolate IP drink mix.

Have you tried Celestial Seasoning's Bengal Spice? I just recently discovered it, and love it! It reminds me of chai, but slightly different. And it smells delightful.

NinjaNurse - It's a celestial seasoning special holiday tea. When I opened the box I swear it was like a gingerbread cookie. I am not a tea drinker, well I wasn't before IP, and this stuff is delicious!

I never thought of myself as a sweets person until today. Skipping dessert was very, very hard. I thought it was the stuffing I would miss and I was very wrong.

Learning a lot on this program!

And I'm pleased to say that I didn't so much as even LICK anything not OP and I didn't even eat any extra that was!

I brought an IP Double choc bar and cut it into squares. I munched on it with a cup of decaf tea while everyone else had cake, pie, and brownies. I had my own "brownie" and it was delicious!
