Default Armor thyroid + IP = dropped 2 pant sizes!

Good afternoon everyone,

Since starting IP on 10/2, I have lost 18lbs! I have tried Nutrisystem + intense exercise but could not seem to get rid of the weight at a pace that would encourage me to stick with it (1lb a month did not work mentally).

After a discouraging week 5 at a 1/4 lb. loss, which I attributed to my TOM, I kept plugging away. I was also worried this week because I forgot to eat on Tues and Thurs (busy at work...I know, I know...it's bad).

Yesterday I clocked a 4.4lb loss. Best of all, I gained 1% in muscle and lost 1% body fat. Yay!

I have been noticing that my size 12 pants were sagging and looked bad no matter what I did.

Alas, the outlet mall along the side of the freeway was calling my name. I figured, it would be super awesome to drop a size to a 10. Come to find out, 10's were too big and I am now an 8.

I also started seeing an endocrinologist who prescribed Armor (3 grains per day) and WOW, I felt the effects right away.

I hope to reach my 30lb goal by Christmas and my total goal by March 2013!

I'm on that medication. I am on 1.5 grains. I've pretty much stopped losing weight (again.) We'll see what my doctor has to say on Monday. I just had bloodwork done.

I used to be under the care of another doctor. In the beginning, there was a long adjustment period until they found a combination that worked for me.

Due to a lot of life events, I stopped taking my meds and because I was so far away from my doc... it is very hard to find one that will prescribe Armor.

I hope your doc will find a solution for you soon.
