Greetings! I found this forum because I'm going to try Weight Watchers for the first time (and try to do low carb/Paleo as well). Low carb has always worked for me in the past, but I've stopped dieting for the past three years and I've gained almost 100 pounds. My dad passed away and then I was diagnosed with a thyroid issue. I used to be fit and I really want to get back to it. I've heard Weight Watchers is great for accountability, so I'm doing my best to journal my "points" and get online support through this forum.
I just got married a month ago to my best friend, and at 220 pounds I really want to get back to the 120 pound person I was three years ago. I'm really hoping this works because I'm no longer confident in my self and I rarely like to go out and feel so bad about the way I look.
I really hope to make some friends and get some good support here that will ultimately lead to my success in weight loss!
