Default Question

I went for an awesome power walk on friday, for 2 and a half hours pushing 2 kids in a double stroller....up hills down hills and back up again. Now 2 days later my weight has gone up 2 or three pounds! My eating has remained good, is this normal?

It definitely is normal. The increase could be from the exercise (muscles holding more water) or just a normal fluctuation. Salt, hormones, particular foods, etc. Just give it a few days, it should come back down.

By the way, great job on the power walk. I get tired walking that much just carrying myself, pushing two kids in a stroller might do me in!

I was wondering how you all get those little signature things that show your weight lost progress? I would like to have one, but don't know how to get it.

You have to be a memeber for 20 days and a minimum amount of posts! You'll be able to get one soon and then just follow the directions.

CJ ~ 20 days or 20 posts (replies), so type, type, type ...

... then just click on someone's ticker and that will take you to ticker.com to set one up for yourself.

Ok. Thanks. I found the ticker site and made one, but wasn't sure how to put it on here, but if I can't have one for 20 days, then I guess I wasted my time making one. LOL! Oh well. I guess I'll wait.

Thanks Justwant2Bhealthy. I think I'm up to four now. LOL I don't think I'll have a problem making 20.

Chrissy31 That is very normal. Don't worry it'll all come out in the "wash"! And I have a 3 year old and I'm scared I would kill myself pushing her and she's only 32lbs! Way to go!!! (I think you just game me my next goal!)

CHRISSY ~ I tried to edit my post to add a comment to you, and the net was down. Came back in and it's back again ... I was going to say that water-weight gain is very common and can be caused by exercise, lifting weights, hormones, TOM, and salt/sodium intake. Not to worry, those few lbs will go away again soon. That was a clever idea -- taking the kiddies on a power walk ... kudos to you!

Thanks, SUMMERLOVE ~ I didn't realize it was BOTH ...

CJ ~ you can still put in a personalized signature until that time (see mine below). You do that in the "USER CP" (top left corner on the purple bar). Click on that, then "EDIT SIGNATURE" and put in what you want.
