Default What is your better-stay-away-from-that weakness?

There are some things that I just can't imbibe in - even a little bit or as a reward, or else I'll just blow it and binge. For me it seems to be not ice cream, pastry, or pasta - it's Turtle's candy bars. I had one Sunday night as a treat, and I was so overcome with I've-gotta-have-more than I ate an extra 400 or 500 calories that night after exercising, and this after being good all day. I try and learn from my mistakes, so NO MORE TURTLE'S.

Mine is M&Ms with Dr. Pepper (non-diet). I don't like popcorn much, so I usually stock up on this stuff when go to the movies. I'll eat them sometimes, but I try to drink diet and eat wheat thins.

Snyder's of Hanover honey mustard and onion pretzel pieces. I cannot be trusted with them and will plow through the whole bag. Don't have a problem with anything else, and maybe I should count myself lucky for that, but those glorious yet evil little buggers get me every time.

Yes! For me it's boxed macaroni and cheese, if I take one bite, I'll eat the whole box.

steak..... omg, i LOVE red meat.

i'm always craving it - even when i'm not dieting. i eat red meat 2-3 times a day and still my iron levels are only average so maybe it's biological. bloodwork from this morning will tell me since i've only had it twice since march 1st and normally i can't absorb iron from the pills (i take two multivitamins a day).

For me it's any kind of fresh bread - bagels, pita, rolls, garlic bread, fresh loaves. I love bread and butter or with olive oil on top. I can just eat and eat.... Once I start, I know I've blown it!

what about home-made kettle corn?

in a large glass mixing bowl, put 1tbsp butter, 1/2tsp salt, and 1tbsp brown sugar. nuke on high just until the butter's all melted, then stir until well combined.

add 1/3c popcorn - the normal, in-a-plastic-bag or in bulk kind, not the microwave stuff. stir until the popcorn kernels are well coated.

put a vented lid on top (or a plate - i just use a thin dinner plate) and set the nuker for 5min. listen carefully - they'll start popping around the 90sec-2min mark. after that, wait until there's 2-3 seconds between pops.

use your thickest oven mitts and remove the bowl from the nuker - while the bowl is still hot, remove the popcorn (careful when lifting the lid! lift it up AWAY from you - don't want all that steam in your face!) and put it in another bowl. this is because a good part of the sugar syrup will be in the bottom of the bowl and it'll harden as the bowl cools making all the popcorn it touches stick rock solid and be a pita to clean.

Spinach!

Nahhh....just kidding! I can plow through just about any bag of anything, bread, pastry, etc. I love Cheerios though. I can eat one huge bowl after another with no end in sight. I also can eat an entire pie. Don't get me started when it comes to cream puffs! Oh my gosh! I'm getting hungry! I also LOVE homemade guacamole with chips.
