Another work related eating event is approaching.
Why oh Why must they reward us with food? I would gladly take a bonus on my check or gift card to Best Buy.
So this time, we are being treated to an evening out at a high end steak house (ala Ruths Chris). I LOVE steak, especially high end steak. I would eat it every day if I could. I already know the menu to where we are going, so no surprises there.
I'm going to enjoy myself and not restrict based on type of food, but I will pay attention to portions. I already know I'm ordering the 22oz bone in rib eye, a wedge salad and side of veggies (probably broccolini). The challenge will be making sure I don't devour the entire steak in one sitting (because I know I can
). If all goes will, I will eat, at most, 1/3 of the steak and pack the rest up.
