Hello ladies! I'd love to join all of you calorie counters here
I have been doing the older version of WW and have lost 20lbs since the beginning of summer. I recently started tracking my foodon SparkPeople also and have noticed that most days I'm lucky to eat 1200 calories when I have used all of mt daily points. I've decided to go strictly with calorie counting.
I had my first child in Oct. 2010. I had already gained some weight before I got pregnant and started my pregnancy at 150. By the time my son was born I was up to 170. At 5"3 I was overweight both before and after. I slowly got down to 160 then stalled. I did 2 weeks of SB phase 1 at the beginning of summer and lost 7lbs. I then switched to WW, but haven't always been too faithful. I am now down to 138, and my BMI is barely half a point in the healthy range. My DH and I plan to start TTC #2 in February. I would like to lose another 10-15lbs before getting pregnant again. And this time around I plan to have a much healthier weight gain. I plan on using BabyFit (sparkpeoples site for pregnant women) to continue counting calories while pregnant.
SP has mt calorie range listed as 1200-1550. I plan on staying around 1300. If I have a big workout day I will allow myself an extra 100 calorie snack if I'm hungry.
Sorry to ramble on and on. I guess it was good for me to get everything out and spell out my plan. Loking forward to getting to know everyone here!
