Default Don't want to weigh in

So my weigh in and meeting is tomorrow and I just don't want to go. I haven't been in 2 weeks and I want to avoid it. I was up 1 pound two weeks ago. Then we had Canadian thanksgiving then I didnt go last Saturday. And now this week it's TOM and I just font feel like I have lost anything. If anything I feel like I have gained.

I know I should just go and face the music but I can't find my motivation. And I had a goal for the end of the month that I really wanted to achieve

just go! I find that for me, at least, when I avoid the scale, I end up continuing eating badly and gain more weight than I had to begin with. At least if you go, even if you've gained, you'll face reality and can gain some control going forward by knowing what you're dealing with. It's probably not as bad as you think and just remember that you probably are carrying around some water weight due to TOM. Good luck!

You can do this! It may be hard, especially if you see a gain, but not weighing doesn't change your weight, it only means that you don't know where you're at.

You can go and not weigh in. It is really, really dangerous to not go because of the fear of bad news. Way back 20 years ago I became a lifetime member. A couple of months later, I went out of town for work for two weeks when I had to eat out every meal. Well, I came back and had gained about, oh, 5 pounds. I was embarassed to go back to my meeting and way in over goal so I thought I would just go back when I was back to goal weight.

I never got back to goal and here I am having to work to get back to goal again.

When I most don't want to go to a meeting is when I most need to go.

Ok so I did not go to my WW meeting

You guys are right I should have gone. But I weighed myself at home when I got up and I was up another 3 pounds !!!!!!

So instead I did my new Jillian michaels yoga DVD and ate a healthy breakfast. Today is the last day of my week with tomorrow the start of a new week. I hope the gain is just from TOM.

When you think you have gained is when you need to go the most. Get to your meeting and nip this in the bud. The longer you put this off, the farther from your goal you will be.

Instead of waiting all the way until your next regular meeting, go as soon as you can to another meeting if you get a chance. You can still go to your regular meeting later in the week (only weigh in once during the week but you can go to more than one meeting).
