I have been OP for 3 weeks now and half way with my weight loss but I am going on a vacation in 3 weeks outside of US where it would be impossible to follow IP. I was wondering if i should start phase 2 early, go on to phase 3 before my vacation so my pancreas can start working properly? And then i'm planning to go back to Phase 1 right after I come back. Has anyone done this? Any suggestions on how to do it the right way? Any suggestions much appreciated...
My Coach has me on 5 days of Phase 2, then 7 days on Phase 3 for my vacation in 2 weeks. But she gave me all kinds of paperwork to read on it to understand what the purpose is, I would talk to your Coach to get their opinion on it. But I wouldnt just stop with Phase 1 or 2 and go directly to eating "regular" as it will mess up how you've done so far! Hope this helps!!!

I will definitely talk to my coach about how to do this properly, the reason I did the diet in the first place was to regulate my metabolism and do not want to screw it up by not phasing off properly. DId you coach tell you that you could eat normal food on vacation? (provided you will do your best to stick to lean protein and veggies?)
Yes she did, said to make good choices - her example was - eat the eggs and bacon for breakfast, but skip the toast, but can eat the "no-no's" such as popcorn/ice cream, but in moderation, since I'll be going back hard core when I return!

Yes, it is a good idea to phase off before vacation, it is exactly what I am planning on doing before my out of the country vacation next month. I know Purrfect did the same thing and she is on vacation now. I am hoping when she gets back she can tell us how it went.
Joyflower- is there anyway you can scan in the paper work your coach gave you and up load it for us to read as well?
