I would be careful in using the Atkins stuff. They use net carbs (total minus fiber) and we use total carbs. A good substitute is EAS AdvantEDGE drinks. I use them rather than IP because they cost so much less. The ingredients are basically the same. The Vanilla drink I had this morning had 110 calories, 3g total fat, 20 mg cholesterol, 260 mg sodium, 440 mg potassium (something the IP food does not have enough of), 2g total carbs, 1g fiber, 0g sugar, and 17g protein. It is sweetened with sucralose (splenda).
I have continued to lose on the alternatives with no problems. In fact, I like them better. I am only in my 3rd month and switched over weeks ago.
I also get bars from Nashua Nutrition website. You can google it for the address. I believe they ship to Canada. Just make sure you read the ingredients and nutritional info on their stuff. But honestly, some of it is the exact same as IP and even has the same packaging, but for less than half the price!
