I try to avoid snacks right before bed, but tonight I know it's a must. I ate a big dinner at 4 today and I won't make it through the night if I don't eat something. I'm thinking a banana may hit the spot, I haven't had one today, only some blueberries for lunch for fruit today.
Do you eat before bed, and if so, what is your go to snack?
was the WW choc bars til i ran out... and i have no fruit in the house right now and i wont til thursday so i JUST (like literally finished it off as i hit reply) a serving of lavash bread (1point) lol
3 cups Popcorn Indiana cinnamon sugar popcorn - 4 points (sometimes I eat 2.5 cups for 3 points)
Nuts -- I have a variety of different ones. I often eat different almonds (I love the Wasabi flavor ones) or pistachios or mixed nuts. Most snacks range from 3 to 5 points depending on quantity
Pepper Jack string cheese -- This is full fat but only 2 points
Weight Watchers peanut butter cup dessert - 4 points
Hummus with whole wheat tortilla - 1 Tb. hummus with 1 tortilla is 2 points
I always eat 1 or 2 snacks in the evening except rarely when I have a very late dinner.
I always have a late snack. If I don't I would just sit there all evening obsessing about food until I either passed out or gave in and hit the kitchen like a madwoman lol. I know I'm gonna crave something at that time, if I head it off then I don't have the desire to binge.
I'm not particular about what it is as long as it fits into my points. I like WW giant fudge bar, LC wheat toast with WW cream cheese, an apple, a serving of baked chips, 94% FF popcorn, or sugarfree pudding cup are some of my faves.
I also always love a night time snack.
I like some Crispy Minis rice chips, a banana and 1 tbsp light PB on an English muffin, or WW bread with Light Laughing Cow cheese!
I like Rice Cakes with a tbsp of Natural Crunchy Peanut butter..... sooooo good. I'm usually not a fan of the 100 Calorie Thinsation snacks, but the chocolate covered pretzels are really good. Perfect combo of sweet and salty. An all time fave snack of mine is also apple slices slightly warmed in the microwave with pumpkin pie spice..... delish.
