Very sorry to hear that. I know you loved the old fella. My dad died suddenly almost a year ago - June 5th. Grief touches people in different ways. I have not done much grieving and cannot blame my eating habits on grief - just greed.
I do miss him though. I could have intelligent conversation about books, films and what is happening in the world. Can't really with mum.
At the funeral I saw my Uncle - his younger brother. He got on so well with my nephew. I rmeembered whenever dad and my uncle got together. They were totally mad!
I was the exact same with my father always yakking about books and just generally having the craic he was such good company just like your dad by the sounds of it. Aren't they hard to do without Peacock.
My father has five other brothers they are all here in England apart from my Uncle Sean who still lives in Ireland and they all look so alike and when they were together which was often they all liked their old pint you'd hear them laughing and teasing each other.
I hope on June 5th you do something nice, thats what I try to do.
