Smile newbie-lost 50 pounds, but still have 30 2 go

Hello all. My name's C.J. and I lost 50 pounds earlier this year, got lazy and haven't lost any the last 4 months. I love to walk, but am not ready to give up the bread yet. Oh, the horror... anyway, I would love to get and give support as I'm forty and the altitude of my backside suffers from a severe case of the gravity blues! Thanks for listening.

Congratulations, both on the loss and the refocused effort.

You're an inspiration.

Please keep sharing.

Welcome and congratulations on having lost 50 already! I'm new this month also and have to say this is the most supportive and fun places to be, and especially knowing we're not alone with the decision to be healthy and fit. Jump in, the water's awesome!

Welcome! I suspect even the thin chicks our age have gravity challenged backsides ;-0 Your post made me giggle! Glad to have you on board. I'm similar in stats (lossage anyhow) to you. I am having a wicked time keeping the scales under the 200lb, but I lost 46 lbs steadily onlong before summer work sabotaged my efforts. At least I didn't gain a bunch! I'm sure you can get the rest off and so can the rest of us!

Barb

Congrats on the 50 lb loss! That's wonderful!

I'm new here too. I could eat bread every day -- lovin' the toast and sandwiches I still don't want to believe that carbs are my enemy, but I've decided to see what happens when I lower my intake. Maybe I'll become a believer.
