Default after about a month off plan,it's time to start back

it's been a stressful past month,my uncle got real sick then died about 3 weeks later,my youngest started high school & my oldest joined the Navy.I don't get to see my mom much cuz shes having to stay with my grandma everyday(shes not doing to well since the funeral)& we got a new system at work, gotta get use to it.anyway,I got on the scales & I've gained back about 5 pounds!Went grocery shopping this morning & got my handy little calorie counting book & notebook back out...I'm ready to start again.I feel like a yo-yo sometimes

good for you! it's all about hoping back on the wagon as soon as you can.. I've been off plan for about 3-4 days and today I'm hoping right back on! if you haven't tried livestrong.com the daily plate to track your calories I've found it to be much easier to keep track of them there! anyways welcome back!

Kudos for catching yourself early on! I know what you mean. I am in the process of relocating out of state and it is so stressful with moving, quitting my job, and just the anxiety. I am still counting calories but some days are way too high. I increased my exercise to 5 days a week to compensate and it also helps with stress too.

Hang in there!

You are exactly where I am. I took about a month off, and ready to start back up! I want to lose as much weight as possibly by thanksgiving, so when I see my family, they are proud of me. good for you for catching within a month, and not a year!

Don't feel bad...I haven't been fully OP most of the summer. I still weighed in and tried to stay active & eat smart, but the counting pretty much went out the window. I've been back in the saddle for about a week now. Welcome back!
