Default I'm a 180 yoyo.

I seriously have been stuck from 185-187 for the last 2 weeks. I lost 4 pounds almost 2 weeks ago and then gained 4 and then lost 2 and then 2 more.. Hit 184 right at my new weigh in and went back up to 185.. and now 186... probably 187 tomorrow.. I can't wait till my TOM gets here in the next few days so my weight loss can be somewhat normal until my next tom. It's extremely discouraging.

The lower 180's have been somewhat slow for me too... but have heart... if you stay on plan, it should keep goin down! 195 to 205 was like that too, but I FLEW through 195 to 186. Bodies are weird, aren't they?

I've been having a binging and eating out problem since my mom got here. She is visiting till sometime in August and despite what she says she's not very educated when it comes to what not to eat. She's always like, this isn't that bad for you or this isn't as bad as everyone thinks it is... I can't stand it.. I am a stress eater so you can imagine this past month I have been having a very difficult time.

Oh Avezy: I can relate. Stress alone can hinder your weight loss--so please don't be discouraged. Just continue to do what YOU know is right for you--and once your Mom leaves, I bet you'll just whoosh down.

You deserve long-term happinesds of a goal accomplished--not a short-term self-defeating happiness of what ever you think will give you satisfaction in your mouth. I wish I could offer some practical advise for you: I eat when I'm both stressed and bored. The best remedy for me is to grab a pen and a piece of paper and just vent my frustrations. Maybe that will help?

Also, I always recommend a book by the authors Cloud and Townsend called "Boundaries" whenever these sorts of situations come up in relationships. Your mom doesn't really have the right to "advise" you about food anymore. And, somehow, you need to tell her that. The book does come at the issue from a Christian perspective. Just so you know.

Take care.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I feel stuck right around the same number. . . And we have similar stats. I'm scared to step on the scale today because I've got TOM right around the corner too.

We'll make it through this. Give it a week

Thanks Lady's you are all very helpful. My boyfriend is going to re-join the gym next week when I pay my fee soo hopefully that will help me get active again and as far as food goes. When the TOM finally get's here I will be cured. haha
