Calorie Counting Works! - Down 50lbs+
All I have done is count calories. I'm sure at some point I will start exercising, but I have done all this just counting calories. I don't care what I eat, but I write it all down and do my very best to stop when I hit 1600 calories. I use the moving average at physicsdiet.com to keep track of everything. The moving average still shows a downward trend even when you show a small weight gain and that has been very helpful. I'm sure those tools are available on many websites, though. Just look around.
I just wanted to post this for anyone thinking about counting calories. It works.
