Default I feel great and love Atkins!

Hi all,

Well, I lost over 20 pounds and it feels so good! I have more energy, feel really good and people who know me noticed that I lost weight, what a wonderful feeling! I was stuck at 160 for a while but Atkins became a way of life for me so I just kept at it and it paid off!

I still have more to lose but I am just so happy!! I don't care how long it takes, I am not bored with what I eat and I am never hungry! Two nights ago I wasn't really hungry but felt like something sweet so I whipped up an egg in a buttered bowl and microwaved it and added the SF Pancake Syrup and that hit the spot. Clothes look better on me already as most of my fat went in my middle, didn't spread to my legs..

Everyone who is on this diet, please be patient as it does work!!

Toby

Well done Toby you've done great! I'm only at week one so seeing other people do well is a big encouragement. How long did it take you to lose the 20lbs?

Hi all,

Been a while since I posted (been really busy)! Imstuffed, I need to go back in time to actually give you the time frame that I lost weight (I know I started around winter time), now I lost 27 pounds, yeah! Menopause has been an obstacle for me but I'm still losing, maybe not as fast as others but the weight is coming off, Atkins really works!

I know I said this before and I'll say it again, to me Atkins is a way of life not a diet. I still don't miss bad carbs and the rare times I feel like something sweet I make scrambled egg(s) and add the Waldons sugar-free pancake syrup to it.. I have been eating more veggies than ever and drinking lots of water especially in this heat (no, I'm not complaining as I remember the snow storms when I had to go out and stock up on Atkin foods. Basically I eat very simple, eggs, chicken, hamburgers, veggies, and my weakness is mayonnaisse which is good because this diet works better with a certain amount of fat. I am still careful with cheeses (don't eat too much) and I finally started to eat some almonds, love those so I need to use self-control! If they become a problem, I will stop eating those.

Sarah, how are you doing?

Toby

Hi Toby, welcome back

I'm doing pretty well - had a sad miscarriage a few months back & am still working on getting off the extra pounds I piled on during IVF (and other excuses) in late March/April. But I'm going in the right direction now.

I moved blogs, and that's been a fun but fairly big project!

That's great. I have been in a stall for awhile now and sorta frustrated. I know if I stick to this WOE I will break it. Just hard to stay motivated!
