I had my consult today at MRC and have decided that I am going to sign up. I get paid on Friday and so I am going to sign and pay then. The plan that they are putting me on will have my down 100lbs by Nov 1st. That has me a little skeptical but I am excited about it. If I do get there that is actually at my target weight.

Good for you. You will be so happy you made this decision. The first 2-4 weeks can be the most difficult, but if you are as ready to bite into this as I was, it will be a piece of cake. All the best!
we're starting about the same time then! I signed up last week, but don't start the paying portion of the program until next Friday (the 7th). I'm also skeptical as they assured me 61 lbs by Labor Day. We'll see!
Congratulations to both of you, you can do it! When I started I was very surprised by their confidence about me actually losing the weight and reaching my goal in a reasonable time frame. Eventually their confidence wore off on me and now i'm absolutely sure I will be a thin person by the end of the summer.
After years of being skeptical because nothing ever seemed to work, I think having the confidence that it *WILL* happen is very refreshing.
I signed up yesterday too! I am excited but not yet convienced that I can do it I am hoping to stay active in the forum for motivation. I see many people that have done so well! Contrats to you all!
You guys can do it! I agree that the first couple weeks are difficult. I had trouble getting into the swing of packing my lunch every day and getting up early enough to eat breakfast but after a while it just started to come natural.
When I signed up and they told me I'd be at my goal by August I thought they were nuts! But now that I'm at my halfway point, I know I can totally meet that goal.
You will be sooooooooo glad you signed up...this is the only thing that has ever worked for me. Just remember it is a lifestyle change not a diet! Best of luck to you both.
