My husband can't stand whole wheat pasta, and we can't get Dreamfields around here.
We do, however, have Barilla Plus, which is a protein/fiber enhanced pasta. Their
angel hair seems comparable to
Dreamfields spaghetti in regards to calories, carbs, fiber, and protein.
I can eat half a cup of angel hair without too much bg spike (especially if it's my only carb for that meal).
I also like using pasta substitutes... like spaghetti squash or ribbons of zucchini, steamed and served with sauce like pasta. This works especially well if I have my protein on top of it. Chicken parmesan is great on zucchini "noodles"! Yum!
