Hello all!
I've been lurking here off and on for about 2 years wishing I had the resources to get on a formal plan to get my weight, my very life under control. I'm so close to being able to do just that and I'm so excited! I'm sick and tired of being tired, over weight, out of shape and literally, ashamed to step out my door because I'm so self-conscious.
My journey into being unhealthy began with injuries from a car accident which severely restricted my level of activity. From there it led to boredom, sleeping to much and eating to pass the time. It's shocking to me when I realize how much food I've actually consumed when I'm munching and then eat a full meal an hour later.
I rarely eat because I'm actually hungry.
I plan on signing up with MRC because my Dr's at Mayo Clinic approve and because from everything I've read (pros and cons), it seems like it would be a good fit for me. My major concern with MRC will be the cost of supplements and what really is necessary.
I look forward to getting to know everyone and the sharing of our journey's toward a healthier life style.
