Hi everyone! My name is Jodi and I am a married (about to go through a divorce), mother of two boys (3 & 7). For the past 10 years I have been overweight. I hit the 200 mark about 4 years ago. Currently, I am 234.
I was laid-off of work in November and rapidly gained 30 pounds. Funny how that happens. Relationship issues didn't help either. My self-esteem is the lowest it has been. I have been taking anti-depressants for 8 years (since I met my husband...interesting) and do think a lot of my weight gain came from
those.
The good news is that I have landed a new job with my own office! Nice! I signed up with my local gym in December but never got serious about it until this last week. Now, I <3 the Treadclimber! I try to get to the gym everyday and do about 20 min on the Treadclimber. I also do a little circuit...don't want to burn out. My eating habits have also changed in the last week. I am now eating 5-6 small meals a day and nothing after 8:15pm. LOTS of water!
My goals:
June 2010 - 200 lbs (hopefully sooner)
August 2010 - 180 lbs
October 2010 - 160 lbs (I would LOVE to wear a normal Halloween costume...no more plus sizes!)
December 2010 - 150 lbs
